Overview<\/h3>\n

This course is designed to help health workers care for women who have been subjected to violence in the context of HIV. This course equips health workers with knowledge and skills to identify abused victims as they attend to their health needs, and to respond with first\u2013line support.<\/p>\n

This training addresses girls and women\u2019s immediate and long-term health challenges resulting from violence at all times \u2013 both obvious and hidden.<\/p>\n

The course targets all aspects and forms of violence that can be physical, sexual or emotional inflicted by a partner or any other perpetrator.<\/p>\n

Course Aim<\/h3>\n

The course aims to build the capacity of health workers to identify violence and respond with first\u2013line support.<\/p>\n

Format<\/h3>\n

This is a modular course with pre-recorded PowerPoint presentations, videos, live tutorials and discussions.<\/p>\n
