Overview

Managing the HIV epidemic requires speedy adoption and implementation of the WHO HIV care treatment guidelines. These require attending clinicians to understand the pathophysiology of HIV, the treatment used and follow up in terms of monitoring.

Course Aim

The course aims to build the capacity of frontline healthcare workers to screen and identify HIV patients, carry out a comprehensive clinical evaluation, have the confidence to initiate HIV treatment and monitor patients using viral load.
